“From across the political spectrum, there’s general agreement that our health care “system” is in crisis, so much so that it can’t really be considered a system at all, but rather an ill-fitting accumulation of processes of care and financing that have been cobbled together over time. Now more than ever, problem-solving needs innovation, the involvement of multiple stakeholders, including those not usually considered part of healthcare, and political and economical sustainability. The costly and generally looked issue of electronic medical records (EMR) is exactly such a problem.”
