Robot assisted surgery as safe as humans research finds

“Experts examined complications with 453 patients undergoing keyhole gallbladder removal and compared the differences between those where surgeons used robots and human assistants.
There were no differences in morbidity, operating time or length of stay in hospital, according to the review published by the Cochrane Library.”
