Hospitals quantify speech recognition benefits

“A number of hospitals have measured the benefits of speech recognition and the latest report comes from HCA International, a premier healthcare facility in central London. They have managed to reduce average report creation time from 24 hours to just two minutes and forty seconds. Adoption levels among radiologists had exceeded the initial goal of 60 percent by the end of the project, and with two-thirds of the roll-out complete, more than 96 percent of dictations are already processed using speech recognition.”
