NEHTA Redefines the Art of Obscurity and Obfuscation.

“So what we have here is NEHTA saying they have developed a clinical terminology subset that is not suited for clinical use, and have had to remove their work from circulation while they ask some independent experts to tell them what to do next!
The minimum that is needed here is an explanation of what has gone wrong. The AMT [Australian Medicines Terminology] has been under development as far back as 2006. (See E-Health Industry Forum Presentation May 22, 2006). The first release was on April 2, 2007 (Version 1.0) and now we find out the AMT is unsafe apparently.”
