“Putting personal health information in the hands of consumers raises issues of how they get it, how and where it originated, and what they can do with it. These are among the issues raised in a recent web-based initiative seeking wide endorsement of a Declaration of Health Data Rights. These same issues have been front and center in CCHIT’s development of a certification program for personal health record (PHR) systems.”
