“Call it Facebook for health care.
McGill University Health Centre is looking for 300 people to test a web-based personal electronic medical record system called MedforYou.
The digital-meets-health tool will allow patients to put their medical information online and access it from anywhere in the world.
It will monitor illnesses, medications and doctor’s appointments, as well as track allergies, blood sugar and hypertension levels; it will store results of lab tests, personal research on chronic diseases as well as such lifestyle choices as nutrition and exercise.”
