“The American Society of Anesthesiologists has launched LifelinetoModernMedicine.com, a Web site designed to inform and educate patients on anesthesia, according to an ASA news release.
The site features an Anesthesia & Me Checklist, designed to be carried in a patient’s wallet and details a patient’s medical history, allergies and current medications among other items important for proper anesthesia care in case of surgery.”
