Discovery vs. Searching for Online HealthCare

“Patients seeking healthcare online have two completely different ways in which they can find relevant information – “searching with intent” through online search engines (such as Google) or “discovering” content through social media sites (such as blogs, forums, Facebook and Twitter). In this video, Chris Boyer – Online Marketing Specialist, Patrick Singson – Senior SEO Analyst, and Richard Haussmann – Local SEO Analyst discuss these two different ways consumers find health information on the internet, discuss the pros and cons of each, and address the reasons why hospital and physicians need to market with both SEO and SMO.”
