“Cutting edge technology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and Chillicothe’s ADENA Regional Medical Center has allowed for key advances in pediatric care through the use of telemedicine. Telemedicine allows for HD video conferencing of patients, so that the severity of a newborn’s condition can be established and more newborns can remain in their birth hospital rather than being transported away from their mother to Nationwide Children’s.
