“Westborough, Mass.-based eClinicalWorks Inc. has integrated into its electronic health records and personal health records software patient educational materials from Healthwise Inc., Boise, Idaho.
The integration enables a physician, after diagnosis, to print on-demand patient instructions from Healthwise within the EHR. At the same time, links to additional information about the medical condition and treatment options are embedded in the patient’s PHR within eClinicalWorks’ patient portal, according to the vendors.”
