‘E-Stroke’ Program Links Patients, Specialists

“Area stroke victims will soon find another pair of eyes offering them care without being in the same room — or even the same community.
The neurologist, based in Sioux Falls, will provide care through telemedicine.
Starting Dec. 1, the “E-Stroke” program will begin at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, St. Michael’s Hospital-Avera in Tyndall and Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera in Wagner.”
