Survey: electronic health records not getting full use

“A survey of physicians in Southwest Michigan affirms what Larry Hamilton and many others already knew — that the medical profession is slow to embrace information technology, and even those doctors who do are not fully using it.
Nothing new, certainly. But the data does provide Hamilton a little better understanding on how doctors view I.T. and use electronic health records to serve patients and run their business. In that regard, the data allows him to better frame his conversations with medical practices as the push grows for health care to catch up with other industries in the use of I.T.”
