Another study on EHRs not delivering savings to hospitals

“On the heels of a research study sponsored by the federal government and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation comes another study by Harvard researchers that provides evidence that EHRs do not deliver savings to hospitals.
The study, “Hospital computing and the costs and quality of care: a national study,” by David Himmelstein, MD, Adam Wright, PhD, and Steffie Woolhandler, MD, was published online Friday, Nov. 20th at The American Journal of Medicine.”
