Blue Cross workers try out health care in a virtual clinic

“Dr. Eric Christianson advised Beth Piper on her medication Monday night — something that normally wouldn’t make news.

Piper sought medical advice from her kitchen in Hampton by logging onto her computer. Christianson responded from his home office, switching on a webcam so he could talk to her face-to-face.
In a seven-minute conversation, Piper learned she couldn’t take sleeping pills because they would interact with another medication.”
