ICT adoption – a must for modern healthcare

“It is common knowledge that Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) play a critical role in improving healthcare services. However, when one looks at the adoption rates of ICT in the sector, a rather dismal picture appears. While some would argue that it is not just the healthcare sector which hasn’t been able to keep pace with the rate at which the technology has advanced and that other business verticals have struggled equally, it still doesn’t justify the lack of ICT adoption in the healthcare space since it has such a direct impact on the lives of people at large.”
