Telecare in France: New study (in French)

“The Institut SilverLife has published a study of telecare in France. L’offre de téléassistance en France. Every year, more than 80,000 reach their 80th birthday, and 85% want to stay in their own home as long as possible. “The paradox is that despite the interest, France is lagging behind in terms of equipment compared with other European countries…This study analyses the various aspects of the problem: new technologies, new services, new uses, not to mention the evolution of the regulatory framework. It incorporates a number of proposals made by members of the Institute in commissions, workshops or study tours”.”
