“The European Commission continues to rank eHealth highly on its ICT agenda. Zoran Stancic, Deputy Director General of the European Commission’s DG INFSO, outlined the Commission’s current and future eHealth priorities during the opening session of the “Semana E-Health 2010” conference in Barcelona.
Stancic said that the EC’s overall financial support for eHealth projects had increased from roughly €10 million annually some 20 years ago to more than €100m today. “The European Commission is strongly committed to continuing and even increasing its support in the future,” he said.”
