Hospitals, Clinics Turn to Biometric ID Technology To Cut Number of Errors

“Hospitals and medical clinics increasingly are looking at biometric identification technology as a way to combat medical errors and identity theft and insurance fraud, CNN reports.
The technology includes iris, palm or vein readers than can identify a person based on unique biological characteristics.”
