Keeping pace

“After realizing her brain sometimes failed to signal her heart to beat, Dr. David Mulholland, a cardiologist with the Jackson Heart Clinic, implanted a pacemaker in Cavin in 1999.
In February, 11 years later, the 39-year-old got a technological upgrade and became one of the first people in the country to receive a wireless pacemaker.”
