Intel boosts rural health care services with ICT in Abuja

“In an attempt to address some of the challenges facing the nation in healthcare, Intel Corporation, as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, after a working visit by its Chairman, Mr. Craig R. Barrett in 2007, decided to begin a pilot electronic health (eHealth) programme in the nation’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Intel is the world’s largest semiconductor company, with 80 per cent of the world’s market for microprocessors, the brains of personal computers.”
