“If the conversation at three recent mHealth conferences is any indication, the mobile healthcare “revolution” is already well under way, and healthcare administrators are scrambling to catch up.
The most recent comments came at last week’s Institute for Health Technology Transformation health IT summit in Seattle, titled “Unleashing the Power of mHealth & Telemedicine.” During this two-day conference, which drew roughly 100 attendees, a wide range of providers, analysts and vendors made it clear that physicians and patients are driving the mHealth bus with their widespread adoption of smartphones and tablets.”
