“The University Hospital of Getafe, a city in the south of Madrid metropolitan area, is conducting a research project in which geriatrics patients actively participate by means of telemedicine tools.
The project carried out by the Geriatrics Unit of the hospital is intended to assess the usefulness of several clinical and functional markers, and to determine the effectiveness of this type of monitoring in order to improve and control the follow-up of elderly patients with heart failure.”
