Tablets Now Changing the Game at Point of Care

“Last week I attended the AMIA meeting in Washington DC. On Monday a couple of members of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Staff led a session cleverly entitled, “Tablets in Healthcare: Not Just for Pills Anymore.” Over the last couple years, Henry Feldman, a hospitalist, and Larry Nathanson, an ER doc, have garnered a substantial amount of real-time experience with the iPad at the point of care. During the session, they shared a number of things they’ve learned, sometimes in dramatic fashion.”
