Ex-Health IT Czar Sees Docs Warming to EHRs

“While many challenges remain in pushing the U.S. healthcare system into the electronic age, the former head of health information technology (IT) under the Obama administration said he’s confident it will happen — eventually.
Providing an update on where the healthcare system stands in its movement toward greater adoption of health IT, David Blumenthal, MD, former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, authored a special report published in the New England Journal of Medicine on the issue.”
